• Identify clinically important research questions and lead projects from initial formulation through study design, implementation, analysis, and publication.
• Engage with external researchers and other stakeholders on designing and conducting research on ambient AI and research that leverages Abridge data.
• Develop a strong user-centric and patient-centric mindset, grounding the research in empathy for the real world experience of providers and patients
• Work directly with clinical and product teams to ground research in real workflows and translate findings into product decisions and capabilities.
• Write technical reports and give presentations to internal and external stakeholders

• MD, PhD, or equivalent research background. Relevant PhD fields include computer science, biomedical or clinical informatics, statistics, biostatistics, and related disciplines.
