Draft: these terms are being finalised and will be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
These terms govern the use of Tokn by candidates (searching for jobs, job alerts and the personal space) and by employers posting jobs. Employers buying options are also bound by the terms of sale.
1. The service
Tokn lists AI jobs found on companies' own careers pages and hiring tools, as well as jobs posted directly by employers. Aggregated jobs are shown as a summary with a link to the original posting. Searching is free and needs no account.
2. Free for candidates
Tokn is and stays free for candidates: no fee is ever asked of a job seeker, directly or indirectly, in exchange for finding a job (article L5321-3 of the French Labour Code). Our revenue comes from employers.
3. Account
Creating an account is free. It gives access to job alerts, saved jobs, application tracking and a profile. You sign in with a link sent by email, or with Google or LinkedIn.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for keeping access to your email address secure.
4. Alerts and emails
Alerts send you the jobs that match your criteria, in real time or as a daily digest. You choose which emails you receive in your settings, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
5. Talent directory
Appearing in the directory that recruiters search is an explicit choice, off by default, that you can change at any time. Your profile is anonymous by default: name, photo and current employer stay hidden.
Your contact details are only shared with a recruiter after you accept their request. Companies you block never see your profile.
6. Applications
You apply on the employer's own site. Tokn is not part of the hiring process and doesn't receive your application. Application tracking is a personal reminder that only you can see.
7. Job content
Jobs are summarised from their source and checked every day. Despite our care, a listing may be inaccurate or already filled: the original posting prevails. Salaries are shown only when the company publishes them.
8. Posting jobs
Employers post jobs for free, with a work email address on their company's domain. A posted job stays online for 60 days and can be renewed for free. An employer signed in with that domain can also see the statistics of the jobs we found on the company's careers page.
Jobs must be real, current, lawful and non-discriminatory, and show an accurate salary range. Posts go live right away and are reviewed afterwards: we may edit or remove a job that breaks these rules, and close the account that posted it.
9. Fair use
Don't use the service to collect data in bulk, disrupt it, or impersonate someone. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.
10. Closing your account
You can download your data and delete your account at any time from your settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
11. Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms; significant changes are announced by email. These terms are governed by French law.
