1. Data we collect
- Account: email address, name, sign-in method.
- Profile (if you fill it in): title, experience, skills, education, links, CV, desired salary, availability.
- Your activity: alerts, saved jobs, applications you track, email preferences.
- Employers: company details, jobs and their statistics, orders. Card details stay with Stripe.
- Usage: pages viewed and clicks, measured without cookies; tied to your account only when you are signed in.
2. Why we use it
- Run the service: your space, alerts, saved jobs.
- Send the emails you chose: alerts, newsletter, reminders.
- Publish employers' jobs, sell visibility options and invoice them.
- Measure audience to improve the site.
- Show your profile to recruiters, only if you opt in to the talent directory.
3. Legal basis
Performance of the service you signed up for (account, alerts, job posting, options), your consent (talent directory, newsletter), our legitimate interest (anonymous audience measurement, security) and legal obligations (invoices).
4. Who receives it
We never sell your data. It is processed by these providers, bound by data processing agreements:
- Supabase: Database, authentication and file storage (EU region).
- Vercel: Website hosting.
- Resend: Sending emails.
- Stripe: Payments and invoices (employers).
- PostHog: Audience measurement (EU cloud).
Some of them are based in the United States; transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Recruiters only see your profile if you opt in, anonymously by default, and your contact details only once you accept their request.
5. How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted as soon as you delete it, CV included. Invoices are kept 10 years, as accounting law requires.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, export and delete your data, and object to its use. Export and deletion are available directly in your settings; for anything else write to privacy@toknjobs.com. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
