Responsibilities

As a Senior Program Manager within GitLab's Enterprise Technology organization, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional technology programs that advance our enterprise IT strategy.

• Define and communicate clear success metrics for each program, reporting status and risk to Enterprise Technology & AI leadership on a regular cadence, and escalating issues with…
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of underlying problems, desired outcomes, and solution trade-offs
• Drive cross-functional alignment by facilitating decision-making, resolving dependencies, and maintaining momentum across distributed teams
• Recommend and implement improvements to program governance frameworks, intake processes, and ways of working across the CIO org

What they're looking for

• 6+ years of program management experience, with a strong track record delivering large, cross-functional Enterprise Technology & AI programs
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex processes and build structured approaches to ambiguous problems
• Experience influencing without authority, earning trust with senior stakeholders, and driving alignment across functions, including Finance, Legal, Sales, and Product
• Comfortable operating at both a strategic level and in the details, switching between executive communication and hands-on program execution as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting program status, risks, and recommendations to ETA leadership and Executive audiences
