Senior Principal Rack System Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

SambaNova is a rack scale developer of AI accelerators. We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to help scale the next generation of platform and datacenter deployments.

• Rack and stack tightly integrated network, power, and compute devices in both prototype and production environments
• Select, configure, and customize high performance rack equipment for deployment at scale across a wide range of customer datacenters
• Work with architects, engineering teams, customer datacenter teams, sales, and marketing to align rack designs with product needs
• Engage with multiple vendors and build the partnerships needed to support our current and future roadmap

What they're looking for

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of hands-on experience deploying advanced compute and networking equipment in leading edge datacenter clustered environments
• Working knowledge of specification, configuration, and use of common datacenter support equipment such as network switches, power systems, and fiber and copper networking…
• Recent experience with typical datacenter working practices and current and upcoming standards, including rack design, wiring practices, rack power options, and cooling…
• Recent experience in prototyping and converting high performance integrated rack solutions to mass production while keeping them manufacturable and serviceable
