Responsibilities

Delivery Operations at Mercor is responsible for the end-to-end execution of our human data programs, ensuring projects are staffed, scoped, and delivered on time and at quality for our customers.

• Strategic partnership: Act as a thought partner to the VP, helping set priorities, structure decisions, and prepare for key meetings, reviews, and offsites
• Cross-functional execution: Drive projects from strategy to execution, coordinating across Delivery, Recruiting, Ops, Product, and Finance to keep initiatives on track
• Operating rhythm: Build and maintain the operating rhythm of the org, including weekly business reviews, KPI tracking, OKRs, and leadership reporting
• Problem solving: Turn ambiguous problems into structured plans, diagnosing operational bottlenecks and proposing fixes across staffing, throughput, quality, and margin
• Executive communication: Prepare briefings, decks, and analyses for exec and board-level conversations

• 2–5 years of experience in a high-ownership operating role, such as chief of staff, business or strategy operations, management consulting, investment banking, venture, or a…
• Prior experience in human data, data annotation, RLHF, or AI training data operations
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable building models, structuring ambiguous problems, and drawing conclusions from data
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to synthesize complex information into clear, concise recommendations
• A bias toward execution; someone who can move from "what should we do" to "it's done" without much hand-holding
